Students will study through the entire New Testament in one school year. The first semester will be dedicated to the study of the life of Jesus and the second semester will focus on the book of Acts and the life of the church in the Epistles. Students will learn of the history, major characters, and position of each book as it relates to the entirety of the Bible. The class will focus specifically on the person of Jesus Christ. The overall expectation for the New Testament course is to introduce and increase the interaction of each student individually with Jesus Christ and to develop a community of students who follow Christ disciples corporately.

New Testament 11/12 meets three days a week for 50 minutes. The majority of each student's grade is based upon class participation. In addition, the curriculum is presented solely through classroom lectures. For this reason it is imperative that each student attend all classes and contact the teacher to receive any information which may have been missed due to an absence.

The textbook used for New Testament 11/12 is the English Standard Version of the Bible.
