High School Overview

Cor Deo’s core curriculum philosophy requires High School students to complete four years of study in Bible, English, history, math and science. The Word of God is integrated into each classroom and each subject.  When we need to use other sources we endeavor to choose those that are in alignment with a Christian Worldview. When students do examine secular material we always compare those teachings with the truth found in the Bible.

Our smaller class sizes ensure a quality education and the ability to develop personal discipleship.

How Our Unique Educational Model Works

Cor Deo and its faculty are responsible for developing curriculum, lesson plans, coursework, instruction, grading, progress reports, report cards, transcripts and diplomas. Classroom instruction is administered by teachers on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, students study independently at home. Students are responsible to carried out work assignments at home in accordance with the teachers’ instructions. Cor Deo teachers are responsible for connecting with parents/students to communicate and to coordinate this cooperative education model.
