Cor Deo seeks to graduate thoughtful, perceptive, analytical, and informed students with the ability to articulate and apply a Biblical Worldview. Teachers coordinate and integrate curriculum from Kindergarten through the Eleventh grade, and all courses include an emphasis on historical writing. By the time students enter the Eleventh grade, they will possess the ability to routinely write cogent and evidential essays.
Cor Deo seeks to develop sophisticated and enthusiastic lifelong students of history and social sciences. Moreover, we desire to stimulate the intellect by teaching critical skills that will allow students to become more engaged in the complexities that exist in society.
The Bible is immersed throughout the year in class to demonstrate it's relevance to the past, present and future. For example, our social studies classes may track with biblical chronology so the students learn the historical and cultural background of the Bible, what else was happening in the world during biblical times, and what happened to nations that followed or rejected biblical teaching.
